Dear Researchers,

The exhibition titled "The Marie Curies of the Mediterranean" will be opened by the Slovenian Embassy, with the contributions of METU Research Coordination Office and Press Office, at the Culture and Convention Center on Monday, January 13, 2025, between 14.00-16.00.

"The Marie Curies of the Mediterranean" exhibition, which was prepared within the scope of the MEDNIGHT project funded by the European Union's MSCA program and will be open to visitors on our campus between January 13-24, 2025, features women scientists and researchers from 22 countries, 19 of which are Mediterranean countries, via 32 panels presenting their biographies, spanning from their childhood to their motivations, from their university education to their professional achievements.

The opening will be honoured by the presence of Her Excellency Mrs. Tanja Fajon, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Mr. Gorazd Renčelj, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia and the President of METU Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil. The opening of the exhibition will be preceded by a panel where MSCA fellow researchers will make presentations.
